Now we’re not suggesting you take the DIY ‘kitchen scissors’ approach, that would be hugely irresponsible (and the results vary, as demonstrated by a few too many ambitious TikTokers), but the style itself is definitely worth considering for your next hairstyle. It gives us effortlessly cool, serious rocker vibes, and we’re totally here for it. Known as the wolf cut, presumably because of it’s kinda wild appearance, it’s easy to see why this trend is everywhere right now. The #wolfcut trend on TikTok (which currently has 436.3 million views), sees brave users tie their hair in a high pony at the top of their head, then chop the end of the ponytail off bluntly, usually using a pair of kitchen scissors. So we’ve already been obsessing over 2021’s fave hair trends so far – we’re talking money-piece highlights, vanilla blonde, and bubble braids (as a shameless bandwagon-hopper, I’ve personally tried all three).
